Preparation before publishing your app

After you have finished creating your app, the next step is to make it available to the public through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. In this article, we outline the requirements and basic processes for publishing an app.

To publish your app created on MoCart, your business must be recognized as a legal entity. This means that your business must be a corporation, limited partnership, or limited liability company. If your company is classified as a sole proprietorship, you will need to update your business license before using MoCart.

Creating an Apple Developer account

  • To publish your app on the Apple App Store, you'll need to pay an annual fee of $99. We recommend enabling the auto-renewal feature to avoid any service interruptions.

Note

The registration times for Google Play and Apple Developer programs differ due to approval procedures. A Google Play account can be approved in as little as 30 minutes, while an Apple Developer account may take 3 to 14 business days to get approval.
