Setting up your privacy policy for MoCart

The privacy policy refers to the statement or legal document that aims to provide detailed information about an organization's practices regarding the collection, use, disclosure, and management of the client's data. Its main purpose is to protect the security and privacy of users' personal information, enhance trust in the organization, and ensure you're meeting legal requirements. If you aim to launch your app on Apple's App Store or Google Play Store, you'll need to have a privacy policy in place. Here are the steps to create one for your MoCart app through Shoplazza.

Steps

1. From your Shoplazza admin > Online store > Pages, click Add page.

2. Name the new page "Privacy policy." You can add the content in two ways:

• Directly enter the appropriate privacy policies in the "Content" text box.

• The second way is to navigate to your Shoplazza admin > Settings > Legal and click Generate default template in the Privacy Policy section. This action will produce a template text provided by Shoplazza. Update the details, then copy and paste this template into the "Content" text box.

3. Once completed, click Save and copy the URL link.

4. Navigate to Apps > MoCart > Settings and paste the copied URL link in the Privacy policy text box under Business information section.
