Add required discount blocks to your theme
Ensure discounts are properly displayed across your storefront by installing the appropriate blocks in the Shoplazza theme editor. Each promotion type connects to a specific display component, allowing for accurate visual presentation and smoother customer interaction.
Home page
Add the Flash sale (new) block to showcase time-sensitive promotions on your storefront’s first screen. This high-visibility position draws attention immediately and helps increase traffic to your campaign offers.

Product detail page
Choose and install the appropriate discount blocks based on your promotion type:
- FLASHSALE (NEW) for countdown-based flash sales
- Discount automatic for Amount Off and Nth Item Discount campaigns
- Discount code for campaigns offering percentage discounts, fixed value savings, Buy X Get Y offers, or free shipping

Shopping cart page
Display discounts directly in the cart by using the Discount banner on cart page. This block shows active offers, remaining spend thresholds, or suggested promo codes, helping reduce abandonment and support higher checkout completion rates.
Confirm theme version compatibility
Some discount features, such as applying a promo code directly in the cart, require your theme to meet specific version requirements. Check the list below to confirm compatibility:
- Nova theme series: Version 3.6.12 or higher
- Geek theme series: Version 3.2.7 or higher
- Hero theme series: Latest version
To check your current theme version or upgrade to a newer one, go to Other Settings | Upgrading your theme. If your theme is not up to date and you experience display issues, reach out to Shoplazza customer service for further guidance.
Update your App’s API version if applicable
If your store uses a custom-built or third-party app to manage discount campaigns, confirm that your app is using the latest version of the Shoplazza API. This is especially important for advanced features such as:
