Setting Up PayPal on your store

PayPal is a supported payment channel. There are three types of PayPayl accounts: Personal Account, Premier Account, and Business Account.

Type of Account




Personal Account

Suitable for customers, small personal transactions, or purchases. 

Ideal for personal shopping and online payments, or sending & receiving personal payments for split bills. Also suitable for part-time sellers or non-business users who want to receive and shop online


Business Account

Suitable for merchants,  easy account management

Ideal for business organizations. This type of account offers additional features, such as up to 200 employee accounts and message forwarding to customer service email for faster processing. 


Please note: only mainland China PayPal personal accounts are currently supported as a method of payment for your subscription. If your PayPal account is not based in mainland China, please add a business account as a payment account.

Before linking PayPal, please make sure that your account is linked to a valid credit or debit card. Otherwise, you will not be able to receive customer payments. See Plans and Payment Methods for details.

Follow these steps to set up PayPal as the payment method for your store: SHOPLAZZA Admin > Settings > Payment channels > PayPal.

You can authorize and link your PayPal account via keys or see instructions to authorize and link your PayPal account with a click.
