Overview of the Inbound summary page

The Inbound Summary page is a central dashboard where you can track all incoming inventory activities. The interface allows you to monitor recent inbound movements, transfer orders easily, and restock to ensure seamless inventory flow. To access the Inbound Summary page, navigate to your Shoplazza Center Admin > Inventory > Inbound. Here’s what you can do on this page:

  • Monitor inbound activities: View a list of recent inbound actions, including product transfers, purchase orders, and surplus entries.
  • Quick access to details: For each entry, you can click View to inspect additional details and verify the accuracy of the incoming inventory.
  • Efficient navigation: Use the filters to sort records by type, location, and date range.
  • Seamless integration: The Inbound Summary page is connected to your warehouse management system, ensuring all updates reflect in real-time.

Daily product receiving and inspection

The following steps will guide you through receiving and inspecting products as part of daily operations:

1. Start the receiving process: From your Shoplazza Center admin, navigate to Inbound in the inventory section and click Create.

2. Select the inbound date and method: The Inbound Type is automatically set to Others and cannot be changed. Select the Inbound Date to record when the goods are received. The inbound method is set to by SKU by default and cannot be changed.

3. Add items: Click Add Product or Import Product to bring existing products into the inventory. Ensure that you select the correct items from your shipment.

4. Select items to add: Select the existing products to which you wish to add inventory and click Confirm.

5. Add batch information: Click the Add Batch button for each product to enter the lot number and expiration date of the product. This step is necessary for accurate inventory tracking.

6. Verify quantity and save: Check that the quantity is correct, add any additional notes if needed, and click Save and Verify. The products have now been added to your system.

Handling transfer orders

Managing transfer orders in the Shoplazza Center Admin ensures that products are available at the right location when needed. Follow these steps to manage your transfer orders:

1. Access transfer orders: Navigate to Center Admin > Inventory > Transfers to view a list of transfer orders. You can filter by transfer type, status, and location.

2. View or edit transfer orders:

  • You'll see an Edit button if the transfer order is in Draft status. This allows you to make changes, such as adjusting quantities, before finalizing the order.

  • Suppose the transfer order is in Awaiting shipment, Awaiting receipt, Completed, or Cancelled status. In that case, the button will be labeled View, allowing you to review the order details without making any changes.

3. Recall transfer orders: If necessary, you can recall a transfer order by clicking the Recall button. This is available for orders in Awaiting shipment or Awaiting receipt statuses.

4. Monitor shipment and receipt: Keep track of orders as they progress. Once shipped, the status changes to Awaiting receipt, and after the receiving location confirms the items, the status updates to Completed.

5. Keep detailed logs: Use the Note and Operation log sections to track any changes or communication related to the transfer order.

By following these streamlined procedures, you maintain the efficiency of your warehouse operations and ensure the satisfaction of your staff and customers through accurate inventory management. Remember, a well-organized warehouse is the backbone of any successful retail operation.
