After adding a market, you can fine-tune its settings to match your needs. This article provides resources to help you manage products and pricing, set up domain names and languages, handle sales tax, and configure shipping for different markets. Review the documentation below to learn more about each option.
Here are some resources to guide you through the process:
Product and Pricing
- Exclude products from a market: Prevent specific items from being sold in certain markets.
- Set different prices for different markets: Adjust prices based on the target market.
- Display product prices in the customer's local currency: Show prices in the currency that's familiar to your customers.
- Set price rounding: Round prices up to common denominations for each currency.
- Learn about the multi-currency settings app: Use this app to display prices in the local currency automatically.
Note
- When you set up different markets, customers will pay using the currency you've set for their market. However, some payment services might not work with every currency. Check with your payment service to ensure it supports the currencies you want.
- If your payment service doesn't support a certain currency, try the Multi-Currency Setup. This app automatically shows prices in the local currency based on the customer's location in real-time exchange rates. Customers will still pay in your store's default currency but see prices in a currency they're familiar with.
- It's best to avoid using the market features and the multi-currency app simultaneously. Doing so can cause problems like incorrect prices or the inability to switch between currencies. Choose one of these options to use.
