Step 7: Enhancing your product collection

Product collections are groups of similar items organized together to make shopping easier for customers. By grouping similar products, you can improve the shopping experience and boost sales. This guide will show you how to create, list, and customize product collections in your store.

Creating and listing collections

• Create product collections: Shoplazza provides two methods for creating collections: manual and automated. Discover more about Creating product collections in your Shoplazza admin.
• Displaying product collections in your store: Simply creating a product collection doesn't automatically showcase it on your storefront. Think of creating a product collection as organizing items in your warehouse. To present these collections effectively on your storefront, learn Listing and displaying products to customers.

Customizing the default collection page

Standardized page templates are provided for each product collection, displayed according to the theme’s presets unless individually personlized.

1. Login to your Shoplazza admin: Navigate to Online Store > Themes. On the theme list page, find the theme you want to customize and click the Customize button to enter the theme editor.

2. Navigate to the Default collection page: Click Home at the top center, then scroll down and select Collections. Click Default collection to access the default collection page.

3. Update sections on the Default collection page: On the left side list, click the section you want to configure to update the collection’s details.

4. Configure collection banner: Customize the default collection banner for both PC and mobile. This configuration will apply to all collection cover sizes.

5. Customize images: Select and customize the PC and mobile collection banners and height for individual collections. Custom covers and sizes will apply to specific collections.
