Adding additional prices

Customized options are used to provide customers with the ability to tailor their orders to their specific needs or preferences. These options can range from selecting specific ingredients or toppings for food orders, to choosing the color or style of a product.

  • This feature is available in the following types of options : Swatch/ Dropdown / Text / Image upload / Button / Checkbox/
  • From your Shoplazza Admin, go to Apps > Product options > Select the product to customize > Add properties

If an order placed includes customized options, correlated fees will be added to the product detail pages when a customer checks out.

Redirecting options

By creating specific links for dropdown and button options, you can redirect customers to a pre-configured order page with their desired customization options. Businesses can streamline the ordering process and make it easier for customers to place their orders.

  • From your Shoplazza Admin, go to Apps > Product options > Select the product to customize > Add properties > Add a redirect link to your configured value.

Modifying color sizes

By adjusting the displaying sizes of the color options, businesses can ensure that customers are able to clearly identify and select the custom color options that they have requested, and that the final product meets the customer's expectations.

  • Pre-set sizes: 52 pixels (default), 80 pixels, 100 pixels

From your Shoplazza Admin, go to Apps > Product options > Select the product to customize > Add Swatch option > Swatch size > choose your preferred displaying size.

Creating parameters

You can now establish conditions to limit the maximum amount of characters your customers may enter in the text description fields when making special requests as an option.

From your Shoplazza Admin, go to Apps > Product options > Customize product > Add option > Add Text option > Maximum character limit.

Filtering by conditions

When a customer places an order, they may be presented with various options to choose from, such as color, size, or quantity. These options can be displayed based on certain conditions that are set up in conditional settings on every option you've added to a product detail template.

From your Shoplazza Admin, go to Apps > Product options > Customize product > Add option > select any type of options > Refer to Conditional settings to establish displaying conditions.

There are three types of filtering conditions you can find for all options:

  • None: Display all configured options with no conditions applied.
  • Field: Only displaying configured options when customer selects the appropriate pre-requisite. (Regardless of the number of rules you've created, your configured options will show if the criteria or requirements specified for one condition have been met or fulfilled.)
  • Variant: Only displaying configured options when a variant derived from the main product has been selected.

Note

The variant option is only available when you select a collection with one product included.

Previewing a custom image upload

When you add an image upload option to your product details template and enable it in your storefront, your customers will see an additional photo section to preview their uploaded image.

Your customers may also modify photo sizes, stretch, rotate, and make customized adjustments to the photos uploaded in preview.

From your Shoplazza Admin, go to Apps > Product options > Customize product > Add option > Select image upload to enable this feature in your storefront when customers uploads custom resources.
