When a customer requests a refund for an item they have already received, you have the ability to manage this process effectively using the Shoplazza admin. This guide outlines the steps to process refunds and create returns for fulfilled orders.
If the order has been fulfilled and shipment has been marked as delivered, then you can create a return and process a refund for those orders.
Note
If you are looking to refund an unfulfilled order, please follow the guidelines on Refunding your Unfulfilled orders.
Steps
1. From your Shoplazza admin > Orders > All Order, switch over to Completed tab and select an order.
2. Click Refund on your order detail page.
3. Here you can select a product or enter a refund amount. Mark the checkbox for items to be returned. Click Confirm to refund to return items.
Note
You can process returns and refunds separately. However, once a refund is issued, a return can't be made.
4. After clicking confirm to Return & Refund items, head over to Shoplazza admin > Orders > After sales, and switch over to the Processing tab.
5. From the order details page, you can click Returned when the Items have been received. You can also find your refund details on this page.
Note
The Refund button won't show unpaid manual orders since there's nothing to refund. Instead, simply cancel these orders.
By refunding the orders quickly and efficiently, you can provide a good customer service experience to your customers, which will encourage them to order again.
