Applying Intelligent product recommendation on product details page, product collection page and homepage

Before your customers buy your products, they navigate through pages including homepage, product details pages and collection pages. By using our Intelligent product recommendation app, you can showcase specific items on these pages. This places the items right in front of your potential customers, sparking their interest and encouraging them to add more products to their cart.

Steps

First, navigate to your Shoplazza admin > Apps > Visit App Store, search for Intelligent product recommendation and install it.

Setting up a new activity

1. In the Intelligent product recommendation app, click on Product details page, then select New activity to begin customizing your settings.

2. Next, simply set up the rules for the activity.

  • Recommended product: Select the products to be recommended here.
    • Intellegent recommendation: It uses certain algorithm strategies to provide certain recommendations. When you enable this feature, you can only select products to be excluded from this activity.
      • Similar product recommendation: The algorithm will analyze your customers' behaviors and the correlation between products, and automatically recommend the best selling products similar to the target product.
      • User personalized recommendation: The algorithm will analyze your customers' behaviors, and automatically recommend the best selling products align with customers' preference.
    • Custom recommendation: Select the product to be recommended by yourself.

3. Next, set the style and layout of the recommendation card. This is what your customers will see on the details page of target products. Here you can set up:

      • Recommended module card: Card title and number of recommended products to display (100 items at most)
      • Product layout
        • Image size: Select a certain size for the product picture displayed on the card.
        • Quick buy button copy: Edit the text and match color for the button.

4. After you have completed the settings and saved the activity, you can set the display order of the activity cards and customize the page where the activity card will be displayed.

    • If you have multiple activities, click Set the event display sequence to rearrange the cards.
      • Only the cards of first ten ongoing activities will be displayed in a product details page.
      • You can either click the pin icon to top an activity, or you can click and drag the drop icon to reorganize the activities.

5. After completing the settings above, click Decoration activity card to customize the page where the activity card will be displayed.

After being navigated to the theme editor, click Add section under Product and select Smart Recommendation app. Then the activity cards will be added to the page.


Note

Please make sure you are editing the default product page.

Viewing the data

1. Navigate to your Shoplazza admin > Apps > Intelligent product recommendation > Product details page and click View all data.

2. Here you can see the data overview:

  • Time range: View the performance for a specific period of time.
  • Trend chart: Click on a certain item including Net sales, Order volume, Exposure times, Add-to-cart quality or Conversion rate to view the visual trend.
  • Activity performance: Click on View details to see the performance of each activity.
    • Comparison between time periods: You can select two certain time periods to compare the performance.
    • Item cards: You can view the Net sales, Order volume, Exposure times, Add-to-cart quality and Conversion rate brought by the activity.
    • Visual data: Click the line chart and bar chart icons on the top right corner to switch to corresponding chart.

Applying Intelligent product recommendation on Product Collection Page

Setting up a new activity

1. In the Intelligent product recommendation app, click on Product Collection page, then select New activity to begin customizing your settings.

2. Next, simply set up the rules for the activity.

  • Basic information: Name the activity.
  • Target products: Only when customers visit the details page of the target collections will the activity card appear.
    • All products: Every collection in your store will display the recommended items.
    • Specified collection available: The selected collections will display the recommended products.
    • The specified collection is not available: The selected collections will not display the recommended products.
  • Recommended product: Select the products to be recommended here.
    • Intellegent recommendation: It uses certain algorithm strategies to provide certain recommendations. When you enable this feature, you can only select products to be excluded from this activity.
      • User personalized recommendation: The algorithm will analyze your customers' behaviors, and automatically recommend the best selling products align with customers' preference.
    • Custom recommendation: Select the product to be recommended by yourself.

Applying Intelligent product recommendation on homepage

    • Custom recommendation: Select the product to be recommended by yourself.
      • Priority is given to recommending high-sales products:
      • Recommended by album order:
