Registering for the Apple Developer Program
Here's a step-by-step walkthrough of the Apple Developer Program registration:
1. Visit the enrollment page: Navigate to https://developer.apple.com/programs/enroll .
2. Start your enrollment: Click the Start Your Enrollment button.
3. Log in or create an Apple ID: Use your existing Apple ID to log in, or create a new one by clicking Create Apple ID.
4. Review and sign the agreement: Carefully read the Apple Developer Agreement. Check the box in the lower right corner and click Submit to sign.
5. Select entity type: Choose Company/Organization from the Select Entity Type dropdown menu and click Continue. Registering as an Individual/Sole Proprietor is not currently supported for app publishing.
6. Provide organization information: In the Tell us about your organization section, provide your company's legal entity name and DUNS number. Ensure this information matches what was provided in your DUNS confirmation email.
7. Enter contact information: Fill in the personal contact information for your Apple Developer account.
8. Review and agree to terms: Read and agree to the terms and conditions, then click Continue.
9. Submit your information: Double-check that all entered information is accurate, then click Submit.
10. Await verification: Apple will contact you within 24-48 hours, either by phone or email, to verify your registration.
11. Pay the registration fee: After Apple verifies your registration, you'll receive a follow-up email with instructions on how to pay the $99 annual registration fee.
12. Complete payment and setup: Go to your Apple Developer dashboard to update your billing details. Click Continue to finalize the payment and set up your Apple Developer account.
After creating your Apple Developer account, the payment may take up to 24 hours to process. Once processing is complete, you can begin building your app in MoCart. Following these instructions will enable you to create your Apple Developer account, which is required for publishing your app.
