Setting up your store locations
Whether you operate multiple warehouses, stores, or inventory storage areas, managing these locations is straightforward with your Shoplazza admin. For detailed instructions on setting up multiple store locations, please refer to Setting up multiple store locations .
Setting up your local pickup
1. From your Shoplazza admin > Settings > Shipping, scroll down to local pickup section and click on the location that you need to edit.
2. Here you can activate the location status by clicking the button on the right.
3. Set the Expected pickup time, which is the estimated preparation time after an order is placed.
- Estimated pickup time: Select the Estimated pickup time after placing order option and provide an estimated pickup time in hours or days if you have a consistent preparation process or can estimate a relatively stable timeframe based on past experience.
Note
The preparation time should be within 30 days.
- No time estimate provided: Select the No time estimate provided option and provide a message such as Please wait for the merchant to notify you for pickup if your preparation time varies and you find it difficult to provide an average estimate.
4. Set the Local business hours for your pickup location.
- Time zone: Select a proper time zone for your pickup location.
- Fixed business hours: Choose to set the Fixed business hours option if your pickup location has consistent business hours every day and no fixed days off.
- Day-to-day business hours: Choose to set Day-to-day business hours for your pickup location if your pickup location has different business hours on different days and has fixed weekends off. Click the "x" button next to a specific day to mark it as a closed day. To adjust the closed status for a specific day, simply click Set open for business to change it to an open day.
- Support cash on delivery: Confirm whether this location supports cash on delivery.
5. Review your settings in the Preview section to ensure they meet your needs.
6. Save your settings using the Save button.
Recommended local pickup tailored to customer preferences
To further streamline the customer experience, the checkout page will automatically highlight the pickup location where the customer last collected an order. This feature simplifies the process for repeat customers, reinforcing a positive and familiar shopping environment.
