Geolocation in Shoplazza is an advanced feature that greatly enhances your online store's capabilities by adapting to your customers' geographic locations. This application intelligently adjusts market settings based on customers' IP addresses. Its purpose is to optimize the shopping experience, ensuring that customers view the store in their local context. This creates a highly relevant and user-friendly shopping environment.

Connecting Geolocation with Shoplazza

1. From your Shoplazza Admin > Apps, click Visit App Store.

2. Search for Geolocation   in the search box and click Add app to add it to your store.

3. Click Install app to complete the app installation.

Configuring the Geolocation Application

  • Market Selector Settings: Decide whether to enable the region selector, which will be displayed at the bottom of the store's page, allowing customers to manually choose their preferred currency.

  • Recommendation Pop-ups Configuration: Opt for enabling recommendation pop-ups, which assist in suggesting market changes to customers whose network IP does not match the current market.

  • Multi-Language Support: To cater to different markets effectively, it's important to offer options for various languages.

Note

To enable different languages, you will need to add different languages to your store by navigating to the Shoplazza admin, clicking on Settings > Language, and then selecting Add Language.

Integrating the Geolocation application in your store aligns the shopping experience with the geographical preferences of customers, potentially increasing sales effectiveness. Tailoring its settings to suit diverse market requirements is important for optimizing its impact.
