Bing Ads provides tools to help track and analyze website traffic. These tools allow you to measure the effectiveness of your ad campaigns and understand user interaction. This information is valuable for optimizing ad strategies and improving conversion rates.
Installing the OnePixel app
1. Access the App Store: From your Shoplazza Admin > Apps, click Visit App Store.
2. Find the app: Enter the app name OnePixel in the search box and click on Add app.
3. Install the app: Click the Install app to complete the app installation.
Obtaining your Bing Pixel ID
The Bing Pixel ID, also known as the UET tag ID, is a unique identifier that tracks your website traffic. It enables you to collect data on visitor behavior, sources, and their activities on your site.
1. Access the UET tag menu: Log into your Bing Ads account . From the main dashboard, navigate to Conversations > UET tag. This section will display your existing UET tags and allow you to create a new one.
2. Create a UET tag: If you don't have an existing UET tag, click Create to generate a new one. This will initiate a step-by-step process to guide you through the setup.
3. Name your UET tag: Enter a descriptive tag name and an optional description. This will help you identify the tag later. Click Save and next to proceed.
4. Choose installation mode: Select Install the tag yourself (manual installation mode) to manually install the UET tag code. Click Next.
5. Add the tag manually: Click Next to proceed.
6. Complete the setup: A confirmation screen will display All done! Click Done to finish the setup.
7. Copy the UET tag ID: Return to the UET tag section. Find your new tag and copy the Tag ID.
8. Paste Tag ID into OnePixel: In OnePixel, go to Other channels > Add. Select Bing and paste the copied Tag ID to link your Bing Ads data.
Setting up conversion events
Conversion goals help you track users' actions on your website, such as form submissions, purchases, or newsletter sign-ups.
1. Navigate to conversion goals: Go to Conversions > Conversion goals in your Bing Ads account. This is where you can manage and create your conversion goals.
2. Create a conversion goal: Click Create to set up a new conversion goal. This will open a new window with various options.
3. Select conversion goal type: Choose Website as the type of conversion goal. This indicates that you want to track conversions happening on your website.
4. Define the goal: Select Category as the conversion goal type. This allows you to track specific events triggered by user actions on your website. Click Next to continue.
5. Select event: Choose Event as the conversion goal type. Click Next.
6. Name your goal: Enter a clear name for your conversion goal to help manage it in your Bing Ads account.
7. Enable enhanced conversions: Select Turn on Enhanced conversions (Recommended). Click Save and next to proceed.
8. Choose the associated tag: Select the UET tag you want to use to track this conversion goal. This links the conversion goal to the relevant tracking tag. Click Save and next to proceed.
9. Finalize the process: Review the information and click Done to complete the setup. Your new conversion goal will now be active and tracking the specified events on your website.
By effectively tracking website activity and user behavior, you can gain valuable insights into the performance of your ad campaigns. This data enables you to make informed decisions to optimize ads and improve conversion rates.
