Creating a Rebate campaign

Rebate campaigns are a strategic tool for driving sales, clearing stock, launching new items, or building customer loyalty. They typically offer a percentage back on a purchase, with greater rewards for buying more. For instance, buying two units might net a 5% rebate, while four units could yield a 10% rebate. This article will walk you through the basic steps of creating a rebate campaign in your Shoplazza admin.


1. From your Shoplazza admin > Marketing Rebates, click on Create Campaign.

2. Add the Basic information, which includes the Campaign title and Campaign duration. You can choose to run the campaign for a specific duration or no expiry date.

  1. For the offer type, you have multiple options to select from:
    • Spend $, get $Y off: A reduction on the amount they pay when they spend a certain dollar value.
    • Buy X items, get % off: A discount based on the number of items they purchase.
    • Buy X items, get $Y off: A reduction in price when they buy a certain number of items.
    • Spend $, get % off: A discount applied as a percentage of their total spending.

4. Based on the offer type, you can set the Discount rules and also create additional discount levels by clicking Add a discount level.

5. You can apply the campaign to all products or just specific ones. To select certain products, click Specify applicable products/collections and add the ones you want. You can sort product displays in ascending or descending order based on price or sales volume.

6. Click Next to finalize your campaign settings.

7. Under the campaign display settings, you can complete the following steps.

    • Choose a Fullscreen or Centered layout for your Rebate campaign banner.
    • Choose a discount pop-up display.
    • Set up a countdown and reminder messages to appear beneath the banner.
    • Customize the banner's color and add a campaign tag.


The campaign duration is set based on the time zone of the Shoplazza admin, and the start time cannot be earlier than the current time.

8. Once completed, click Save.

Offering a rebate can help differentiate your product from competitors who are not offering a similar promotion. This can help you gain market share and increase your overall competitiveness.
