Shoplazza Payments | France Region Overview

If your business is located in France, you can use Shoplazza Payments to accept online payments easily and securely. This built-in solution does not require third-party providers or manual setup. You can enable Shoplazza Payments as your main payment method when setting up your store.

Supported payment methods include major credit and debit cards such as Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, JCB, and UnionPay. You can also accept Apple Pay and Google Pay for a faster, more secure checkout experience.

Bank account requirements

Once Shoplazza Payments is active, eligible merchants can receive payouts to their Shoplazza Balance as early as T+3 business days. This means funds are typically sent three business days after a customer makes a purchase. The “T” stands for the transaction day, and “3” refers to the following three business days.

Before linking your bank account, ensure it meets the following requirements:

  • Account type: Full-access current account.
  • Location: Must be opened with a France-based bank.
  • Currency: Must operate in EUR.
  • Transfer eligibility: Must support ACH transfers.

Personal information requirements

To meet financial regulations, Shoplazza verifies both your business and the individuals associated with the account. This helps confirm legal compliance and prevent misuse of the payment system.

You may be asked to provide information about:

  • The individual creating the Shoplazza Payments account.
  • The business entity connected to the account.
  • Anyone who owns or legally represents the business, such as directors or legal signatories.

Document verification tips

When submitting verification documents, ensure the following:

  • Documents are clear and readable.
  • All details are visible and accurate.
  • Information is up to date.
  • No parts are cut off or blurry.
  • Content is error-free and matches your Shoplazza account details.

Accepted documents for individuals and businesses in France

Accepted documents are required to confirm your identity and business status. You’ll need to submit at least one document from each category listed below.

1. Identity document (required): Valid passport.

2. Business documents (any one of the following):

  • VAT Registration
  • Financial statements
  • Commercial register extract
  • Artisan register extract
  • Siren register extract
  • Articles of incorporation
  • Attestation d’Immatriculation (not expired)
  • Extract from the Official Gazette (non-profits only)
  • Receipt of Declaration of creation of the association (non-profits only)

Payment period

The payment period is the time between when a customer completes a payment and when the funds are deposited into your account. All transaction records use UTC time. Once a payout is released, your bank may take 24 to 72 hours to reflect the funds in your account.

Payout amount limit

To request a payout, your Shoplazza Payments balance must meet the following minimum threshold:

  • EUR accounts: €500

If your balance is below this amount, payout requests cannot be submitted until the threshold is reached.
