Building lasting customer connections and encouraging repeat purchases are key to sustainable business growth. A repurchase coupon campaign is designed to reward loyal customers and incentivize future purchases. This guide outlines each step in setting up a successful repurchase coupon campaign.

Creating a Repurchase coupon campaign

A repurchase coupon campaign incentivizes customers to return and make another purchase. This section outlines the steps to set up the campaign in your Shoplazza Center Admin, including defining coupon rules, setting discount conditions, and tailoring the campaign to your customer base.

1. Access the coupon page: Navigate to your Shoplazza Center Admin > Marketing > Coupons, and click New activity. Select Repurchase Coupon and confirm your choice to start the campaign setup.

2. Define your campaign rules: Give your campaign a unique name and schedule its duration. Set specific start and end dates or enable long-term effectiveness for an ongoing promotion.

3. Set campaign conditions: Establish the conditions for offering coupons. This includes setting minimum spending thresholds, identifying eligible products, and specifying whether the coupon applies to online, in-store, or both sales channels.

4. Determine the discount type: Choose the type of discount to offer, such as a percentage off, a fixed amount off, or a free exchange. This decision will determine how appealing the coupon is to your customers.

5. Minimum requirements: Set the criteria for coupon eligibility. You can specify a minimum purchase amount or quantity or allow the coupon to be used without any restrictions as long as it's available.

6. Configure discount settings: Decide whether your coupon can be combined with other promotions. Set the total number of available coupons and any limits on how many each customer can claim.

7. Customer settings: Choose which customers are eligible for the coupon. You can make the coupon available to all customers or target specific customer groups or individuals. This ensures that the campaign reaches your intended audience effectively.

8. Determine applicable products or stores: Specify which products or collections are eligible for the coupon and exclude any items that don’t apply. Also, choose which sales channels—online, in-store, or both—the coupon can be used. Once done, configure the campaign's display settings by clicking Next.

Campaign page settings

The campaign page settings allow you to control how your repurchase coupon campaign is presented to customers. From uploading custom visuals to setting up timers and customizing the coupon card visibility, this section helps you create a visually engaging and effective campaign page.

1. Upload a custom poster (Optional): Add a custom poster to create a visually engaging campaign page. The poster should match your brand’s style and the message of your promotion, helping to capture attention and encourage participation.

2. Customize the banner display: Choose between fullscreen or margin displays for the banner on your campaign page. Adding a countdown timer increases urgency and can prompt customers to act quickly before the offer expires. Ensure the banner’s size aligns with Shoplazza’s recommended dimensions for optimal display.

Note

Timers only appear for campaigns with a set end date. Use 1920px x 300px for fullscreen banners and 1410px x 300px for margin displays.

3. Set coupon card display: Ensure the coupon cards are visible on your homepage and product detail pages through theme editor settings. Proper visibility increases the chances of customers claiming the coupon, so ensuring the display settings are correctly configured is important. Click Save once everything is set up.

Confirming your campaign activity

Before launching your campaign, it’s essential to review its setup and track performance. This section covers how to preview the campaign, monitor its success, and even end it early if needed.

1. Preview and share: Before going live, preview your coupon campaign’s landing page to ensure all details, images, and settings are correct. This helps catch any mistakes or inconsistencies before customers see it.

2. Monitor performance: Use the data breakdown next to each coupon in the list to access detailed data for individual coupons. This insight can assist you in adjusting your strategy as needed.

3. End campaign early: If necessary, end the campaign ahead of schedule. Coupons already claimed will remain valid until expiration, so customers will retain access to discounts even if the campaign is stopped early.

How customers redeem repurchase coupons

This section walks through the customer's journey, from receiving the repurchase coupon to applying it at checkout. It explains how the coupon is claimed, reviewed, and applied during the purchase process, ensuring a smooth customer experience.

1. Claim the Coupon: Eligible customers will automatically receive a repurchase coupon, encouraging them to return for another purchase.

2. View available coupons: During checkout, customers can review all available coupons and choose the best one for their order. This ensures they maximize their savings.

3. Apply the coupon: Customers can apply their selected coupon at checkout, with the discount immediately reflected in their total purchase amount before finalizing the transaction.

Creating a repurchase coupon campaign significantly boosts customer loyalty and drives sales. This process, from careful planning and execution to ongoing management, underlines your dedication to customer satisfaction and business growth. A meticulously designed campaign demonstrates your commitment to nurturing customer relationships and ensures your business is poised for future evolution and success.
