Why are my store images not fully displayed?

When the banner images, collection covers, and product images on your website are not fully displayed, it’s usually due to theme settings. This can affect the overall visual appeal and user experience on your store. Properly displaying your images ensures that your products and collections are showcased effectively, enhancing customer engagement and satisfaction. Follow the steps in this article (using the Nova2023 theme as an example) to make the necessary adjustments and ensure that your store’s images are presented as intended.

Adjusting banner or slide image display

1. Start customizing your theme: Begin by navigating to your Shoplazza admin > Online store > Themes > Customize.

2. Open slideshow settings: Click on the Hero slideshow title to open the slideshow settings.

3. Adjust image height: Adjust the desktop or mobile height as needed. Setting the height to 0% allows the image to resize automatically.

4. Save your changes: Click Save draft or Publish to complete the settings.

Fixing the display of collection images

1. Start customizing your theme: Log in to your Shoplazza admin and click Online store > Themes > Customize.

2. Select the collection page: Click the dropdown and select Collections > Default collection.

3. Add a custom image: Click Collection image > Add custom image.

4. Upload images: Choose the collection and upload images according to the size requirements for desktop or mobile. To learn more about image size requirements for a theme card, click here.

5. Adjust image height: Modify the image height manually or turn off the Custom height button to let the image resize automatically.

6. Save your changes: Click Save draft or Publish to complete the settings.

Correcting the display of product images on collection pages

1. Start customizing your theme: Go to your Shoplazza admin and click Online store > Themes > Customize.

2. Open product settings: Click the theme settings icon, then select Product.

3. Modify size settings: Scroll down to the Force image size section and set it to Natural.

4. Verify product list card type: If the image size does not change, it’s because the product list card is an additional section. Additional sections do not respond to theme settings. In this case, replace the additional section card with the default product list card, which will adjust according to the settings.

5. Save your changes: Click Save draft or Publish to complete the settings.

Adjusting the display of product images on product detail pages

1. Start customizing your theme: Navigate to your Shoplazza admin > Online store > Themes >  Customize.

2. Select the product detail page: Click the dropdown and choose Products > Default product.

3. Adjust product details: Click on the Product details title to open the section settings.

4. Modify size settings: Scroll down to the Force image size section and set it to Natural.

5. Save your settings: Click Save draft or Publish to complete the settings.
