If you haven't added any payment methods or enabled the COD (cash on delivery) option, your customers will not see these options at checkout page. In this FAQ, we'll explain two scenarios where your customers may encounter issues. To resolve these, ensure that your payment method is correctly configured in your Shoplazza admin, and that the COD option is selected when setting up shipping.
Scenario 1: Payment Method Unavailable at Checkout Page
When you see the error message "Payment method is not available" at checkout, here's what you can do:
Customer's checkout pageHead over to your Shoplazza Admin > Settings > Payments to verify if you have set up any payment methods. If not, simply click on the Add payment method button to choose and configure your preferred payment method.
Scenario 2: COD Option Not Displayed at Checkout
If the COD option is enabled in your payment methods, but doesn't appear at checkout, follow these steps:
Customer's checkout pageVisit your Shoplazza Admin, and go to > Settings > Shipping to find out if you have checked Cash on delivery available. If not, please select this option, and then your customers will see the COD option at checkout. Head over to your Shoplazza Admin > Settings > Shipping. Under the General Shipping section, click on the edit icon. Once in the general shipping profile, click Edit on one of your shipping zones to find out if you have Cash on Delivery enabled (checked Cash on delivery available).
