Creating customer grouping lets you filter target customers effortlessly, allowing you to manage their information in a dedicated section under Customer management. This feature also enables you to send discount codes or coupons to particular customer groups. Doing this can increase the accuracy and impact of your marketing campaigns. Simply follow the instructions below to craft your own custom customer groups based on the criteria you choose.
Creating a new customer group (new cluster)
1. Navigate to your Shoplazza admin > Customers > Customer grouping and click New cluster.
2. After clicking New cluster, you can set the following information:

- Subgroup name: Enter the name of your group of customers.

Customer Filter Criteria: You can click and select certain criteria under Customer Filter Criteria on the left to add them to Filter settings on the right. Please refer to the table at the end of this article for the criteria supported.
Filter Settings: You can select up to ten criteria for grouping. There are two ways to filter customers in the grouping:
- All conditions met: Customers meeting all the selected conditions will be included in the grouping.
- Meet any conditions: Customers meeting any of the selected conditions will be included in the grouping.
- In Filter settings, you can:
- Click the pencil icon on the right to edit a condition.
- Click the trash bin icon on the right to remove a condition.
- Click Calculate after making edits to determine the number of customers under the chosen conditions.
- When you complete your settings, you can click Save to keep the grouping.
Managing Customer grouping
Once you've created customer groupings, you can manage them from the Customer grouping section on the homepage. Here's what you can do:
- Search for a Subgroup: Simply use the subgroup name.;
- Edit a Subgroup: Click the pencil icon;
- Delete a Subgroup: Click the trash bin icon.

In the following table, you'll find details about the different options available for managing customer information in Customer Filter Criteria. Please note that some terms have specific meanings:
- "Contain" refers to including specific values or criteria in the filtering process. This option allows you to target certain conditions.
- "Not included" means that specific values or criteria are excluded from the filtering process, ensuring they are not part of the final result.
