Checkout page | Adding order notes for your customers

Enable order notes to gather important details about your customers' orders. This allows them to provide specific instructions or preferences, enhancing their shopping experience and ensuring smooth order fulfillment.

Steps to configure order notes

1. Access the checkout settings: Go to your Shoplazza admin and click Settings > Checkout page. This takes you to the settings for your checkout process.

2. Locate the order notes section: Scroll down until you find the Order notes section. This section allows customers to leave special instructions during checkout.

3. Configure order notes: Here, you can control how the order notes section appears to customers during checkout.

  • Expanded: The note box will be expanded, allowing customers to see and use it easily.
  • Collapsed: The note box will be collapsed, offering a cleaner look while still being accessible to customers.
  • Hidden: The note box will not be shown on the checkout page.

4. Preview the display options: Click Preview to see how each display option will look during checkout.

5. Save your changes: Once you've made your choices, click Save to apply your settings.

By adjusting the order notes settings, you can create a smoother and more convenient checkout experience for your customers. This allows them to provide additional information, ensuring their orders are fulfilled accurately and to their preferences.
