Managing Menu Navigation

Menu navigation is key to enhancing user experience and displaying store content effectively. A clear and straightforward navigation menu helps customers quickly find the pages they want to visit. Think of the navigation menu as a map of your website: the clearer the guide, the easier it is for customers to find what they're looking for. This article will explain how to set up and manage your menu navigation.

Managing your menu navigation

1. Login to your Shoplazza admin: Navigate to Online Store > Navigation, and select the menu you want to manage. This will take you to the menu editing page.

2. Expand or Collapse submenus: Click the collapse button next to the menu name to expand or collapse hidden submenus.

3. Edit menu name and links: Click Edit to change the menu name and links.

4. Enable "Open in new tab": When this option is enabled, clicking the menu navigation on the storefront will open a new browser window.

5. Enable hidden menu: Use this option to hide the menu in the storefront. Hiding a menu will also hide all corresponding submenus.

6. Delete menu: Click Delete to remove a menu.

7. Reorder menus: Drag and drop menus to adjust their order. You can also move a menu to create a first-level or second-level menu by dragging it to the desired position.

Note

A maximum of three levels of menus is supported. It’s recommended to use a structured layout, for example: first-level menu as “Clothing,” second-level menu as “T-Shirts,” and third-level menu as “Short-Sleeve T-Shirts.”

8. Save Changes: Once you have set up your structured layout, click Save to generate and save the created or the updated menu.

By following these steps, you can effectively manage your store’s menu navigation, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly shopping experience for your customers.
