Feature Introduction

The Shipping Cost Estimation feature is a basic supporting function of the Dianjiang FBS Warehouse & Logistics Management System. Merchants only need to log in to the backend, enter the shipping and receiving addresses along with the product information, and they can obtain the corresponding list of logistics products and the current shipping cost results.

Common Scenarios

1. When pricing products, it is necessary to estimate the shipping cost in advance.

2. When the fulfillment method for an order is unclear, use this feature to compare pricing and delivery times comprehensively.

Note

1. For products with large volume, please consult Dianjiang FBS customer service regarding the dimensional weight factor for the specific product route and destination country.

Example: For route SLKGC-E to the United States, the dimensional weight factor is 8000. A pillow with an actual weight of 0.7 kg has a dimensional weight of 2.6 kg (Length × Width × Height ÷ 8000). The weight used for logistics billing will be 2.6 kg.

2. Different product types correspond to different logistics channels.

Examples: general goods, apparel, products containing batteries or magnets, cosmetics, special items, etc.

3. The estimation results do not fully represent the actual shipping cost. The final freight will be calculated based on the actual measured weight when the package is dispatched, and any difference from the precharged shipping fee will be adjusted accordingly.

How to Use Shipping Cost Estimation

1. Log in to the Warehouse & Logistics System and click Fee Mgmt in the menu bar.

2. Click Cost Estimation.

3. Select the warehouse and country.

4. Enter the product information.

5. Click the trial fee below to view the shipping fees.
