  • To simplify the setup process for the 'Cart countdown' and 'Trust enhancement tool' features, encouraging more merchants to customize these features, and ultimately improving their effectiveness.

Usage path:

  • Log in to your Shoplazza admin backend, go to Apps and search Booster & Store Conversion
  • Go to Cart countdown or Trust enhancement tool and click "Go to Themes"

2. 【Update】New app: Shoplazza Subscription

Usage scenario:

  • This is ideal for businesses selling items that customers need regularly, like contact lenses, medicines, or supplies. The subscription feature allows customers to subscribe once and get their products delivered regularly, enhancing their shopping experience and boosting the business's sales.

Usage path:

  • For merchants:
    • Log in to Shoplazza admin backend, go to Apps and visit App Store > Search and download Shoplazza Subscription
  • For customers:
    • Customers can choose the "Subscription purchase" option in the "Purchase options" section on the product details page of items available for subscription.

Feature introduction:

  • The subscription feature enables customers to set up automatic recurring orders and payments.
  • Merchants can choose which products are available for subscription, offer special subscription discounts, and set the frequency of subscription renewals.
  • Products available for subscription will show a subscription option on their product details page. Customers can subscribe by selecting this option and completing the payment.
  • Once a subscription is set up, the system automatically creates a subscription contract, showing the details of the subscribed products, costs, next renewal dates, and subscription management options.
  • Customers will get an email a day before their subscription renewal, detailing the estimated renewal cost and subscription management options.

  • Will the amount charged for each subscription period always be the same?
    • The charge for each subscription period might vary due to changes in product prices, shipping costs, taxes, and other discounts.
    • We'll send an email a day before the subscription charge is due, showing the estimated amount. You can adjust your subscription before the charge goes through.
  • Can I use other discounts when I purchase a subscription product, even after applying the subscription discount?
    • Absolutely, using the subscription discount won't stop you from using other applicable discounts. Any orders automatically processed after subscribing will also apply any other automatic discounts that are eligible.
  • Will automatically renewed orders include additional items like coupons and shipping insurance?
    • Currently, orders processed on the renewal date won't automatically include add-ons like coupons, discount codes, shipping insurance, or tips. Auto-renewed subscription orders will only include the purchased products, subscription discounts, automatic discounts, shipping costs, taxes, and other basic order content.
  • What happens if I delete the Shoplazza Subscription plugin?
    • If you delete the subscription plugin, products will no longer support subscription purchases, but it won't affect existing subscription contracts. If you reinstall the subscription plugin, you'll still be able to view your subscription contracts.
  • Which themes are compatible with Shoplazza Subscription?
    • All themes, except for OnePage, support the subscription feature.

Note

While all themes (except OnePage) can display and process subscriptions, the "My subscription" section in the customer's personal center requires a theme upgrade to be accessible.
