After successful payment by a Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) user, the BNPL provider pays the merchant in full upfront, while the user repays the provider in installments.
From a customer experience perspective, BNPL typically offers two repayment methods: one-time payment, where the user repays the full amount after confirming the product is satisfactory upon receipt, or installment plans, such as three or four installments. Generally, the first installment is paid at the time of purchase, and the remaining amount is repaid according to the schedule. Users typically do not incur handling fees.
Shoplazza Payments offers BNPL payment methods, including Klarna, Afterpay/Clearpay, and Affirm. These are available in the United States, Canada, Hong Kong (China), the United Kingdom, and France.
Activating BNPL
Merchants using Shoplazza can opt to enable BNPL payment methods when applying for Shoplazza Payments. No additional materials are required, and activation typically takes 3–4 business days.
Merchants can enable installment payment options with a single click when activating Shoplazza Payments.

Disputes
BNPL payment methods may also give rise to disputed orders. The reasons for disputes are not significantly different from those for credit card payments. Disputed BNPL orders may incur dispute fees, which are consistent with those for credit card payments. Shoplazza Payments | Fee Structure and Pricing Examples
